More than happy to own up to that one! the comment was tongue in cheek, I thought that would be obvious after reading the sentence that followed it, which specifically called out the great HS lax in CNY… or you just chose not to read that.
Either way, you’re right. It was an insult, but one only made in a joking way, My apologies for offending all of Central NY.

That is an insult to the entire CNY high school lacrosse community.
As a whole, Central puts out some of the top talent in all divisions of college lacrosse, along with the Baltimore Area and Long Island. Those are the three classic hotbeds that everyone refers to when talking about the proverbial gene pool of lacrosse.
“Not much else”? Unabashedly insulting….
