I don't think it matters where the game or the player are. I think Garrett Hardy deserves credit for making a great play and executing, period. Despite geography, he made the goal, put the game out of reach and ensured the win for his team! Great job Garrett, way to represent!

Cause Northeast HS goalies don't make rare mistakes? ....LOL

I wouldn't put this so much on the opposing teams goalie. I myself am a goalie and have been scored on in a similar fashion, except it was a middy throwing it from the top of the box. Anyways, on a long lob pass such as this, you expect the attackman to catch it and throw something so you focus more on his stick and what he's going to do/anticipate his next move and you end up not fully committing to the ball. I don't believe this speaks for texas lacrosse. I'm sure this and other worse things have happened in Maryland, New York, or other hot beds before.

It looked more like a terrible pass that found its way into the net via a tip by the attack. But regardless, that is something a goalie shouldn’t let happen, and it speaks for HS lacrosse in Texas if that is the starting goalie on the #2 team in the state.
