No doubt that Casey is stellar...I contemplated putting the whole Powell family, but then I would have been over 10 players. I actually met him at Placid, and he was a great guy and very humble.
As far as Lee Pinney is concerned, I could not think of a better guy who has given up a ton to grow the game. I also recently found out that my high school goalie and fellow captain is married to one of Lee's daughters. He is a great guy and still very in tune with the local (Western Mass and Connecticut) lacrosse scene.

Still kind of bummed Casey Powell didn't make the top 10. The guy is the oldest of the brothers and is still killing it worldwide.

Lee Pinney is a fantastic addition to this list. Kudos to whoever added him in. Not only did he give up a percentage of his personal profit and well-being to grow the game in this area, but he is a fantastic individual. He is at all lacrosse events that are held on "his" fields, and he even brings and cooks some sweet corn on the sidelines for the players after their games. If you ever have the chance to make it to a lax event at the Somers Firehouse fields, I wholeheartedly suggest you track down the frail man in the Cornell hat. It will make your day.

Side note: The only time Lee's sideline recliner isn't vacant is when he's sitting in it. No one sits in Lee's chair.
