Happy Friday, ladies and gentlemen!
“You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.”– Michael Jordan
In 2011, I first heard the story of Bruce Lee’s 1969 mission/vision statement – a short note to himself, written almost as a contract. “My Definite Chief Aim.” The note was written when he was 28 years old. He’d appeared in numerous shows but was not yet financially well off. We know how big a star Bruce Lee became. And you can see below what he laid out for himself.
My Definite Chief Aim
I, Bruce Lee, will be the first highest paid Oriental super star in the United States. In return, I will give the most exciting performances and render the best quality in the capacity of an actor. Starting 1970, I will achieve world fame and from then onward till the end of 1980 I will have in my possession $10,000,000.00. I will live the way I please and achieve inner harmony and happiness.

The point here is simple. You must know where you intend to be before you can go about taking the steps to get there. This holds true in life, in business, in school, in sports, in anything we do.
Make it a GREAT day and a GREAT weekend!
Stay blessed.
