With Words and With Silence

Chazz Woodson - Words of Wisdom

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!

Speak now or forever hold your peace. We’ve all heard that expression. Sometimes it’s difficult to actually know if it’s best to speak now or whether simply holding our peace is a better option. Two things are certain, however. One, if we remain quiet, we’ve got to be willing to accept what comes with it. And two, once we speak up we cannot retract our words.

Not everything is meant for every/anybody, or any situation, regardless of whether we are in a boardroom, among friends, or on social media. Sometimes our silence says more than our words ever could. And that’s the double edged sword. Our silence can be as damaging to others, to ourselves, or to our opportunities as our words. Sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the oil. And sometimes it gets replaced. Be discerning and decisive with your words AND with your silence.

Make it a GREAT day!

Stay blessed.
