With the 2016 Major League Lacrosse season kicking off this weekend, I sat down and tried to have a little fun with it by doing a season long prop bet again this year. I got a couple other guys involved, and using lines, we determine how we think the season will turn out. Ideas were tossed around among the group as to different bet ideas.
For example, I will cite one of my favorites: “how many times will Jojo Marasco get cross checked in the head?”

In the end, we came up with prop 20 bets and gave each media member $2,500 of LaxAllStars newly minted fake money and told them they had to bet at least $25 on each bet with no limit. Here are the bets and picks from our media poll of LAS’ Ryan Conwell, Lax Magazine’s Joe Keegan, and Brian Horton of Inlacrossewetrust.
No real money will change hands and this is all for fun.
The bets were selected using stats from the 2015 season coupled with historical averages. The over/under numbers were choses using last year’s results, such as Florida having the most efficient offense in the league.
