It’s lacrosse opening weekend in the college ranks. Finally, after months of angrily throwing the ball against the wall waiting for its return, lax is back. Rejoice players, coaches and fans alike, because it is time to begin the process of crowning a new champion.
Last season, Virginia claimed the national title, defeating Yale, 13-9, for the program’s sixth triumph. Who will be crowned the champs of 2020? The journey starts this weekend.
