49th Time’s the Charm!

Congrats are in Order to the Wagner College Men’s Lax team, who broke their 48 game losing streak March 3rd by defeating Presbyterian 12 to 7. The Seahawks’ last win was on May 1, 2005. Although it’s been a long time coming, almost 4 years, I’m sure the ‘Hawks welcome the monkey jumping off their back.

I did a little research through the most reliable source on the Interwebz and found that while Wagner’s streak is long, it’s darn right youthful compared to some such as Prairie View A & M’s 80 game streak in 1-AA football and Cal Tech’s 207 game streak in D-III hoops. Good luck ‘Hawks on the rest of the season and we hope your next addition to the win column comes sooner than 2012!

His first post covers what it is really like to be a student-athlete. It's a GREAT read!
