Our last post on the The Aleš Hřebeský Memorial box lacrosse tournament in Prague is getting long, so instead of adding more updates to the bottom of that post, we created a new post. CJ Greene, Mark Powers, Justin Otto and James Synowiez are balling it up it seems, as LC United was able to win its first and second games of the tournament, against the Slovak Nationals, 14-3.
Justin Otto (Top Side Lacrosse, LLC) notched a solid 4 goals in the game, and it is more than likely they all came left-handed. Mark Cottom dropped an assist in the game, while Bryant Boucher notched 2 goals. CJ Greene made his presence felt with a 1 goal, 2 assist effort and James Synowiez mirrored CJ’s production with 2 goals and 1 assist.
In their second game, LC United took on Vienna Cherokee and won 14-0. Shutout. Ouch. James Synowiez made a strong case as an early all-star with 8 of United’s 14 goals. Yup, that is 100% ridiculous. James tore it up on the LaxAllStars.com box team this winter in NYC as well.

UPDATE #1
The photos are starting to come over hot and heavy from the guys over in Prague and it’s only making us more jealous that we’re not there! Looks awesome!

Lax tat. Of course.
Interesting note about the guys in the green jerseys at the end… they don’t use shooting strings. At all. This is the Old Dogs Pilzen team. They say the ball comes out smoothers and more consistently, but still have deep pockets. Connor Wilson is going to have to try that!
