Born in the small town of Oakland, New Jersey, the sport of lacrosse was for all intensive purposes absent from my community. Thankfully my cousin, Mike Burns (UNC '10), exposed me to this amazing game at the age of 10 and there was no turning back. I played for a neighboring town in their recreational league and within a year was selected to play for Tri-State Lacrosse's elite youth squad. Continued to play for Tri-State my entire career until college where I played my four years for Mike Pressler and the Bryant University Bulldogs. I have coached youth lacrosse for Tri-State Lacrosse since my high school years and have continued since to this day. Upon graduating from Bryant after the one of the most historical seasons in program history, I coached at Kean University, a division three school in New Jersey and since then have moved to the HS ranks as a member of the Don Bosco Prep HS Varsity coaching staff as well as the program's face-off development coach.
