Get JACKED! with Coach Scott Umberger

This Week’s GET JACKED! – What do all of the teams competing for championships right now have in common? Sacrifice. Get ready because the blood, sweat, and tears are only starting.  It’s never too early to prepare for a productive off-season.  Dedicate yourself to getting better and next year you will be the one holding that trophy instead of hanging out on your couch.

‘The Lax Newb Chronicles’ – Knucklehead

Editor’s note: Being a lacrosse fan puts you in the unique position of appreciating not only one sport, but a variety of sports that use the same basic skills. Basketball has similar fast breaks and zone defenses, football has raw physical violence, and soccer/hockey have vaguely similar rules and field set ups.  With that in mind we welcome you to “The Lax Newb Chronicles”.

Stalking Cinderella at the MCLA National Tournament

With tournament action ready to kick off in the MCLA, lets take a look at some of the lower seeded teams who are heading to Denver trying to shock the world. These teams are faced with seemingly insurmountable odds on their quest for lacrosse glory.  Stranger things have happened in the wide wold of sports so throw down that mop and broom, Cinderella, it’s time ball it up.

Get JACKED! with Coach Scott Umberger

This Week’s GET JACKED! – Sometimes it’s about more than just strength and conditioning.  In this week’s post, Scott talks about the training that needs to happen between your ears.  Let’s discuss outworking the competition. Let’s chat about “win or go home ” because it’s playoff time in LaxNation. Where will amazing happen this year?

GET JACKED! with Coach Scott Umberger

This Week’s GET JACKED! The dedication and sacrifice needed to become a champion also means you have to be a little crazy….maybe even a little delusional in the head. Winners fight and claw when any sane person would quit. It’s time to learn what it takes. Come on up and get down with the sickness.

All Work and No Posts Makes Mr. BS a Dull Boy

Thanks for bearing with us these past few days, LaxNation.  We’ve been working on a lil of the business side of the site and the posts have been few and far between.  Trust me when I say that we have some good things cooking in the LAS kitchen and paitence is a virture / a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush / don’t pee into a strong wind / never pet a burning dog…yadda yadda yadda.  Thanks for all the support and look for more amazing lacrosse content coming your way. Jermaine of Flight of the Concords said it best…
