The National Lacrosse League has announced the 2015 NLL regular season schedule. The 29th season of professional indoor lacrosse will open on Friday, Jan. 2 with the Buffalo Bandits visiting the recently-relocated Connecticut-based franchise at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Mammoth’s Powell set to return
After missing the first seven games of the 2014 NLL season, Colorado Mammoth forward Casey Powell is set to return to the team this weekend. With the team looking to get back on track, Powell will make his season-debut against the Minnesota Swarm at Pepsi Center on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET.
Mammoth sign former MVP Iannucci
The Colorado Mammoth’s roster already included one former NLL Most Valuable Player in John Grant, Jr. On Wednesday, the team announced that it signed another: Athan Iannucci, who won the award in 2008 when he shattered the league record for goals scored in a season with 71. The contract is pending league approval.
