Rachael DeCecco

A 2003 graduate of Princeton University, DeCecco (then Rachael Becker) led the Tigers to four straight Final Four appearances and two consecutive National Championships, (2002, 2003). Often called the best defender to ever play the game, DeCecco is the only defender to win the Tewaaraton Trophy. A 3-time first team All-american, DeCecco was the Honda Broderick award winner, the 2003 National Player of the year, and the most valuable player of the 2003 National Championship. After college DeCecco continued her career with Team USA, earning a Silver Medal at the 2005 World Cup. DeCecco now serves as the COO of the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League Foundation.
