Beautiful Goals – College Lacrosse Video Explosion

Beautiful goals on the lacrosse field should be celebrated, so this week we’re highlighting one beautiful goal per video that you need to look out for. If there are two TRULY amazing efforts maybe we’ll go crazy and talk about both of them. It’s Friday, and weirder things have happened.

Beautiful Goals

At the 3:18 mark, Duke’s big man, Myles Jones, uses his size and stick movement to create an incredibly deceptive shot that gets by Georgetown’s keeper. While we all know and love the big outside cannon, a closer touch shot shows finesse, skill, and high on-field IQ. The next minute of plays really showcases how diverse a skill set Jones now possesses.

I love the fact that at 1:42 BU scores a goal, and then their next goal is basically a carbon copy of the same goal. Both are basic, but pretty!

Maybe just watch all the goals from this Hop – Cuse thriller. How do you pick just one?

If I had to pick one, that Staats goal at 2:30 was probably my favorite.

Do you want to see Jimmy Bitter score 5 goals in the first half? Of course you do.

I don’t know how I missed it, but this opening goal from Hartford is awesome.

Speaking of early goals… Notre Dame’s Matt Kavanaugh has a beauty early on in this one.

Tufts may have won the game, but the best goal of the game has to come at the 1:32 mark of the video below. Falling down BTB pass to quick stick finish off the cut. It’s just… beautiful.

You’re going to have to wait through about 6547835 Roanoke goals to get to the best score in this one, which comes at the 2:36 mark. FoGo proves he’s more than just a FoGo/has anyone ran to the goal that directly ever before? Straight line to goal. Boom.

Watch this whole video, you’ll see 28 goals scored, but the one at the 5:30 mark is something special. Endicott beats Lynchburg and THIS is the game winner? Wow.
