This week I was tasked to bring you the best songs from a time when things were a little bit easier. I was born in 1996, so any time before that seemed reasonable to me. Life certainly hasn’t been easy for anyone since I entered this world!
I focused on the best songs when it comes to the pop, rock and R&B genres because those are ones that resonate with me. Let’s take a look at my top three, shall we?
“Ain’t no mountain high” by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell – Great tune, and everyone loves Remember the Titans. That’s where the song came from, right?
“Your Love” by The Outfield – Something about this song gives me an adventurous vibe. It also adds some good balance to the playlist.
“Easy” by The Commodores – Low key jam that makes you very relaxed. It’s a great listen for Sunday mornings, pun intended.
Now to what you’ve all been waiting for – here are the best songs from before I was born!
WARNING: Songs include explicit lyrics not suitable for all audiences.
