On January 2nd, Kanatiio “Tiio” Adams, an 18 year old Senior at the Salisbury School in CT passed away.  Adams was a stellar hockey and lacrosse player from Cornwall on the Akwesasne Reservation, who was set to play with the Iroquois U-19 National Team, and who had been accepted to Cornell to play lacrosse in the fall on a scholarship.

Tiio is survived by numerous relatives including his brothers, Rylan, Dash, Ratsienhahiens, and Myan, who is currently a member of Cornell’s Men’s Lacrosse team.  We are saddened to learn of Adams passing as he was a promising lacrosse player, and from all accounts, a loved and promising young man.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Salisbury School Lacrosse Team, the Cornell Lacrosse Team, the Salmon Rive High School Lacrosse team, the entire extended Adams family, and all of Tiio’s friends.

As of this time, more info on Adams’ passing is not available.
