After advancing to the national semifinals for the first time in five years, Brigham Young has been tabbed the favorite in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC) Division I Preseason Coaches Poll, which was released on Wednesday.
The Cougars (16-4), who knocked archrival Utah out of the MCLA in the quarterfinals, have a quality balance of returners and newcomers to make for a promising spring.
BYU snagged three of the four first-place votes.
Colorado (11-5) grabbed the other first-place vote, helping them sit in the second chair. The Buffaloes qualified for nationals for the 10th straight season in 2019.
Colorado State (4-10) and Utah Valley (3-11) tied for third in the four-team poll.
