Epoch Lacrosse is proud to be the lead-sponsor of the new Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 video game now available for download.
Epoch has an active role in the gameplay. Players are able to upgrade their in-game equipment with an Epoch Dragonfly “Booster Pack” (a Dragonfly shaft or a HAWK head strung with “Otter Mesh”) to improve their accuracy or shot speed.
“Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 is the world class video game we have all been waiting to get our hands on,” said James Miceli, principal and founder of Epoch Lacrosse. “Its gameplay is realistic and the graphics are the best we have seen to date. The game delivers on all fronts and will definitely bringing new players to our sport and also educate people on how exciting our sport is.”
The Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 video game is the result of a partnership between Crosse Studios and Big Ant Studios, one of Australia’s largest gaming studios, with the goal of bringing to market a video game lacrosse players have been begging for and one that will help to grow the game of lacrosse.
“We are thrilled to have Epoch as the lead sponsor for Casey Powell 16,” said Crosse Founder, Carlo Sunseri. “Since day one, James Miceli and the entire Epoch team have fully supported our mission to grow lacrosse through video games. It’s rare to find such a forward thinking, innovative, and collaborative partner in the lacrosse world. ”
Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 features an all-new graphics engine, true lacrosse gameplay, and takes character likeness to a whole new level, giving the lacrosse community the opportunity to create the largest ever database of lacrosse players through Xbox One, PlayStation®4, and Steam.
“We are gamers and play whenever we get a chance in the office,” added Miceli. “Our goal was to help the gameplay and to also put technology into the hands of players like we do with all of our products.”
