Chuck Jaffe: LASt Word

The 2018 FIL World Lacrosse Championships was monumental in many ways, and Lacrosse All Stars gave you a dynamic front-row seat to the action with interviews including Chuck Jaffe, world lacrosse games broadcaster for ESPN+. It was the first time the games had been hosted in a non-English speaking country. Ever. It was also the best participation at a world games with 46 countries participating.

LaxAllStars was there to bring you all of the coverage. Over the next few weeks, we will be reliving the top moments and memories from world championships. Follow along as we bring you exclusive interviews, photos, highlight videos and more.

Today, we are bringing you an interview with 2018 FIL Men’s World Lacrosse Championships broadcaster Chuck Jaffe. Chuck was kind enough to join us on set, and provided some great anecdotes about the world games and the unique stories behind them.

Host Josh Hawkins talks with Chuck about unique storylines from the games, including one of the youngest-ever lacrosse players to play in a world championship. They also talk about the unique atmosphere found at a world games, and how sportsmanship played has played a large part.
