Cradling – It’s So Important!

Cradling should be like breathing, so that at higher levels it is a non-issue, and comes naturally. With this video I really wanted to point people learning the game and people developing their weak hand in the right direction. There is nothing worse than a kid who has a bad cradle habit, having to spin his stick before he passes or cradling one handed with his hand in the middle of the stick.

Breaking away from these kind of habits immediately elevates you to the next level of lacrosse. If you can’t cradle like the ways I showed in the video, you have no flow and finesse on the field to do the fun things like ripping low pie or dishing out apples.

Cradling is a fundamental skill, everyone knows that. Learn it the right way and be the laxer I know you can be!
