What’s up, everybody? I’m here to give you the final count of our COVID-19 mask build out.
Yep! Final count!
We have been able to produce and distribute 249 masks strictly on donations alone. I’m happy to say that the reason we’re stopping is that a lot of the hospital systems have slowed down the demand for these particular masks. We knew this day would come, but how quickly it did is exciting and brings hope.
Now, obviously, COVID-19 isn’t gone and we don’t have a vaccine yet. That means that medical professionals still need protective gear. They still need N95 masks and disposable products, but the face shield was designed to be sanitized and reused. That means a lot of the hospitals we’ve been serving have proven that the shields actually served their needs and safety measures quite well.
So, hats off to you, guys! While there’s not a lot of good news going on right now, and that is definitely a piece of solid news. You saved lives, you helped people, you created good in the world.
Before I check out, I want to thank all of our partners on this project. Kohelet Yeshiva, Give & Go, Lacrosse All Stars, and the people. You are the best.
Remember that you guys did make a change here. That said, there is a lot of change that can be brought here in this community. We’ve all got more work to do!
So, until next time, take care, stay safe, and keep laxin’.
