Video: NYC Ulax Playoffs

The New York City “Spring” Ulax league runs from February to early April, and now you know why I used quotation marks around the world Spring. For much of the season, the weather was cool and windy, but it was rarely below freezing, and the games were almost never marred by wet weather.

The regular season was played on the West Side of Manhattan, on a NYC Parks Dept. turf field tucked into a city block over on 10th Ave. The playoffs moved to Columbia’s turf field complex up on 218th street in Inwood, and the action was as good or better than it was all season.

Bill Schick hits us up with his second lacrosse video (he’s an accomplished photographer trying out video), and the highlights are excellent. Just a little post-collegiate NYC balling:

Plenty of Salt Shakerz, Throne of Stringers, and Team LAS members in this four minute clip. Enjoy!
