Deadspin: Watch How Lacrosse Is Conquering America

Deadspin.com recently published a very interesting article about the growth of lacrosse in America. Author Reuben Fischer-Baum reports that lacrosse is no longer a regional sport:

While it has a historical reputation as a niche sport—wealthy, Northeastern/mid-Atlantic, and “preppy-as-balls”—its geographic range, at least, is now all but boundless.

From there, he goes into great detail about the sport’s growth, including some nice graphs depicting its spread across America. While Deadspin hasn’t always been kind to our sport (are they truly kind to anyone?), it’s refreshing to see this type of article pop up on their site. We encourage you to give it a read and share your thoughts in the comments section below.
