Saint Anselm College Fall Men’s Lacrosse Update

  1. Well I was wrong about the US Indoor team! Adding Rabil obviously helped them out a bit as he dropped a couple goals and created even more chances for guys like Buchanan and Powell.
I caught a little bit of the game online on nll.com but the feed wasn’t great. or my internet connection wasn’t great. it usually is. anyway, gave up after a while.
Good to see Ginny Capichinni bounce back after a really rough start where she wasn’t saving much. couple huge saves right before halftime evidently.
Impressive for the Iroquois (beyond their standard kick ass box game) was the fact that 3 of their players (two thompson brothers and staats) are 19 years old at most and they all produced and played a lot. The future is awfully bright for the Iroquois. Add in Jeremy Thompson, now at Cuse, and watch out world!
US wins 13-11, Walters, McGlone, Rabil, Buchanan and Powell all came up big. Now where are we going to see Peet Poillon take up indoor and dominate? He’s got the stick and the speed to excel!
