Chris Hogan With Miami Dolphins Dreams

If you’ve been following the Miami Dolphins’ Hard Knocks episodes this year, you’ve probably gotten to know Chris Hogan, a Wide Receiver hopeful with the Miami Dolphins. You might know that Chris Hogan went to Penn State, but you probably did not know that he played lacrosse, and not football, as a Nittany Lion.

While in high school, Chris Hogan was a stud lacrosse player and football player, and now he’s looking to get back on the gridiron. At Penn State, the 6-1 215 pound midfielder was a force to be reckoned with. He led the team in goals as a junior with 29, and during his senior year, Hogan chipped in 24 points, often drawing a lot of the other team’s attention.

After his four years at PSU, Chris Hogan went to Monmouth University for a year, where he once again played football. As detailed in this Bleacher Report article, which alerted us to the lacrosse connection, Chris Hogan was on the practice squad last year, and saw no time in any games, however he seems to be making waves in 2013.

Not bad for a former lacrosse “O-mid”! Thanks to Richard Hodge for sending the BR post our way! Kid must be an ATHLETE!
