Italian National Lacrosse Team

The National team (follow link for roster) gathered in Prato, on January 25th and 26th and carried out its first training session on the field of the new Italian team “Prato Grizzlies.”

We would like to remind everyone in Italy and abroad that they can donate to the Italian National Team through the crowd funding link “Italia Lacrosse Road to Denver 2014.”

Box Lacrosse

On February the 1st and 2nd, FIGL and Bocconi Sport Team organized the first box lacrosse event in Italy. It was a 2 day clinic, held by Kyle Witt (Canadian, Bocconi head coach) to officially present box lacrosse to all the Italian players, coaches, and managers interested in bringing this sport to their teams for possible future development of an Italian box lacrosse championship.

International Tournaments

On February the 8th and 9th, Bocconi Sport Team was guest at Durham University for the II “Cathedral Cup,” an “exchange” tournament between the 2 universities. In 2013 the first “Cathedral Cup” was hosted by Bocconi and, this year, Durham organized the second edition.
