Mark Matthews Scores Hat Trick in First NLL Game

Former University of Denver standout Mark Matthews took part in his first professional indoor lacrosse game this weekend with the Edmonton Rush, and even though the Rush dropped a TIGHT 10-9 game at home to the Toronoto Rock, Matthews proved to be a bright spot on an improving team. Basically, the guy just did work!

After seeing what Matthews did in tight, and from long distance, against longstick defenders on the field, it’s no surprise he was able to adjust to the pro indoor game immediately.

Matthews has size, and a good burst of speed, but his top rated talents are clearly still skill and creativity. Wouldn’t you agree?
