Road Trip with Rhino: What’s to Come

With the regular season drawing to a close it is time for sun burns and tan lines, lacrosse pennies, and of course summer camps!

This summer I will be traveling on the road with the Rhino Lacrosse crew as we hit the road for five Rhino Lacrosse Academies in Arizona, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and back to Oregon to wrap thing up in beautiful Bend before the highly anticipated Oregon Lacrosse Classic.

Rhino Lacrosse has been running some of the best instructional academies for a decade.

Oh hey Coach Rhino

It all started in 2004 after Ryan Powell moved to Portland, Oregon and held the first Rhino Academy in West Linn with the goal of helping develop local players who were hungry for an opportunity to play more and learn from some of the games best players and teachers.

Much has changed over the last 10 years but one thing has remained consistent: their devotion to teaching the game in fun and unique way. I hear they have some big plans lined up to celebrate the 10th year of the West Linn Academy.

Rumor has it you will be able to test your accuracy by taking aim at a variety of very breakable objects. I have already been hitting the wall to maximize my accuracy and smash factor.

Over the course of the summer I will be sharing my experiences with all of you about what makes the Rhino program different from the rest. You can expect to see a variety of posts here on LAS of my journey and all the fun stories that ensue.

One thing we are excited about here at LAS is the Stick Trick Competitions.

At each academy we will be looking for the best tricks, posting our favorite ones right here and rewarding the winners with some awesome LAS mystery prizes.

If you are looking to elevate your game and have a blast while doing so you need to get out and join me. Plus, I selfishly want the chance to meet you and possibly tell the world your story.

Check out RhinoLacrosse.com for more details and stay tuned as we hit the road and continue to Grow The Game!
