St. Mary’s – Severn Alumni Highlights

These Maryland rivals get their alumni together each year to play each other, proving that high school glory doesn’t ever really have to end.

Maryland Coach, Tillman, Talks Recruiting

Several hundred players, parents and coaches listened intently Tuesday night as Maryland men’s lacrosse coach John Tillman served as the guest speaker at the annual Duke’s Lacrosse Club Recruiting Seminar at Harriton High’s auditorium.

Tillman, whose Terrapins have been Division I runners-up each of the past two years, gave his recommendations on how student-athletes and families can best navigate the pressure-filled task of picking the right college. The event was open to the public.

The speakers, also featured Duke’s L.C. players of all ages – including seniors Matt Rambo (La Salle, ATT, signed with Maryland) and Tim Langerhans (Conestoga, LSM, Army), Tanner Peck (Avon Grove, ATT-MF, Penn State) and freshman Forry Smith (Haverford School, ATT, Johns Hopkins)…

Different Perspective On Conference Alignment

We hear a lot about the the realignment of conferences at the D1 level. Schools jump from one to another, often for monetary reasons, and the athletes and rivalries are often overlooked. In D3, it’s a very different set up…

We know the Czechs love box lacrosse, but they are also playing more and more field lacrosse. Here is a photo from a game between LCC Radotin and TJ Malesice:

I do like Czech Lacrosse. Can’t lie.
