A little while back we told you about Dominik Pesek making the move to Canada from the Czech Republic, in order to chase his box lacrosse dream. Well, the move is now 100% official, as Pesek has landed in the Great White North. And wouldn’t you know it? The Czech National is already getting face time on a local TV station.

The portion on Pesek in the video below starts at the 4:50 mark:

Pesek has been a big scorer for LCC Radotin in the Ales Herbesky Memorial for the last few years, and I’m interested to see how he adjusts to Canadian box lacrosse, and how LCC Radotin adjusts without him!

Tip of the hat to Dominik for taking a risk, moving to Canada, and pursuing his dream. Good luck to Pesek and the Victoria Shamrocks this year!

  • I like box, but don’t follow it at all really. However I think this is great for the sport, a Czech breaks into the Canadian league. Shows how much the sport has grown, not just in the field game. Awesome
