Duane Jacobs, Kaleb Toth: Lacrosse Classified

On this week’s Lacrosse Classified, we have a unique “A” and “F” in our Stampede Tack Weekly Report Cards that we are saving until the end. Duane Jacobs and Kaleb Toth join us.

Duane Jacobs, Kaleb Toth: Lacrosse Classified

Also, what’s up with white nets with a white ball?

First up is Duane Jacobs, the general manager of the Six Nations Chiefs and assistant coach of the Iroquois Nationals at the upcoming world championships.  Duane was recently inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame, the second time he has received the honour as his Six Nations Chiefs team was previously inducted.  We talk about the Chiefs, the Nationals and what his message to indigenous youth is.

Second up is Kaleb Toth, head coach of the Nanaimo Sr. A. Timbermen.  As a player, Kaleb won three NLL Champions Cups, two Mann Cups, a Minto Cup and a world championship, but is perhaps best remembered for scoring the final goal in Maple Leaf Gardens history with 1 second remaining to win the 2000 Champions Cup with the Toronto Rock.  We discuss his championships, the crazy game last Friday which got his Timbermen into the WLA playoffs and look ahead to their first round match-up with the Victoria Shamrocks.

We also have another round of Stampede Tack’s #WhoYaGott, where Evan and Jake had a horrendous week going a combined 1-7-2, news and notes and a new contest where you make your picks for #WhoYaGott and have a chance to win a prize from Stampede Tack.

As always a big thank you to our sponsors, Pure Vita Labs and Associated Labels and Packaging.
