Denver Outlaws’ Comeback Best Described By Video Highlights

The Denver Outlaws comeback win over the Long Island Lizards was the most impressive comeback victory we’ve ever seen in an MLL game. When Long Island was up 12-3 in the 3rd quarter it looked like the game was out of reach for the Brendan Mundorf-less Outlaws, but a defensive stand to blank the Lizards the rest of the way and TEN straight goals from Denver, they pulled out the win, 13-12, to head to the finals, where they will play Chesapeake today at 3pm, on ESPN2.

During Denver’s unbelievable comeback, a couple of goals really stood out, and while the Matthews to Bocklet goal was truly special (see below), this Peet Poillon effort really takes the cake in our opinion!

If you’re a “one hand guy” you might prefer Matthews to Bocklet…

By the way, that was Chris Bocklet’s SIXTH goal in the game. Unreal.

Can Denver pull it together for a second day in a row and take down a tough, clicking Chesapeake Bayhawks squad? Could we see Brendan Mundorf return the Outlaws’ line up? Who’s going to win it all in 2012?
