Time To Enrich Our Lives

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!

“Your work should enrich your spirit.” – 8,789 Words of Wisdom

“[T]oday would be a great day to pause and ask, ‘Deep down inside of me, what really matters? What are one or two or three things that I want to be sure gets fit into the core and center of my life?'” – Mary Morrisey

We are not all fortunate enough to do as a career what we are most passionate about. It may not pay well. It may not be a fruitful “career” choice. Some of us are so busy that we rarely, if ever, even find time to fit things that we are passionate about into our life’s schedule. I’d suggest to you, today, however that we find time for the things that we are passionate about.

What in life gets your juices flowing? What things inspire you? What things make you feel good? What brightens your day or takes you to that place mentally, emotionally, or spiritually where nobody can disturb your peace of mind? Is it going to the beach? Is it church? Is it volunteer work? Is it dinner dates? Catching up with friends? Whatever it is that transports you, make time for it in the new year. Promise yourself – whether it’s once a day, once a week, or once a month – that you will make time to do the thing(s) that you are passionate about. Make it a staple of your life. We regularly and sometimes unknowingly, find plenty of ways to do things that don’t bring us that much joy or that we are not passionate about. Why spend unnecessary time on those things when we could spend time enriching ourselves, and maybe others too?

Make it a GREAT day!

Stay blessed.
