Ethan Tosheff Uncommitted All Star

Face-off athlete Ethan Tosheff might have a late start to the game, but he’s shaped himself into one fine lacrosse player.

With the ever-increasing resources and level of commitment, face-off athletes are continuing to revamp the way we look at the game. Class of 2018’s Ethan Tosheff is no exception. Just one season away from closing out his high school lacrosse career, Tosheff is still in search of his next level home, but that’s not slowing him down. Slightly late to the game, compared to many of his teammates, he picked up lacrosse as an eighth grader and spent time as an attackman and midfielder before realizing his knack for facing off.

In the middle of last season, Tosheff took over a role at the X and began finding immediate success with high win-percentage. Known as a fast learner and dedicated athlete, he took the opportunity that was presented and ran with it. His commitment to his team’s success earned Tosheff the role as the team captain going into his senior year. Tosheff also excels on the football field and draws from his experiences to also dominate at on face-offs. Quick-handed with a strong base, Tosheff has grown as a draw man day after day, making him a strong candidate for any college to continuing to guide him into a great lacrosse player.

Ethan Tosheff According To Coach:

“Ethan has incredibly quick hands, a strong football/wrestler’s base, and a quick jump off the x. Recently thrust into the position, Ethan is already consistently beating highly recruiting fogos. A diamond in the rough, Ethan is traveling the country to the best FO camps to prepare for college.”

– Joe Opron

Sporting a 3.7 GPA, Tosheff has taken his role outside of athletics quite seriously. He believes that his experiences as the son of business owners has helped prepare himself to be open when meeting new people, able to sell himself and to get people to invest in him as a person. How often do you even hear of high school athletes thinking in this direction? His vision has helped bolster his leadership qualities, helping him to become a captain and earning the respect of teammates and coaches. Through a couple short years of training with Nazareth Academy and East Ave Lacrosse has shaped this young man in to a prime fit for countless schools across the country.
