Virginia – Drexel Video Highlights

The Virginia Cavaliers men’s lacrosse team won their third game of the year (in their third one goal game of the year), topping Drexel 11-10. It’s hard to call a team battle tested this early in the year, but if anyone has the right to do so, it’s UVA.

UVA had four players with two goals (Pannell, Cockerton, Tucker, and Van Arsdale), and three players put away single goals. Mark Cockerton got the game winner (unassisted) and also added two assists. Van Arsdale also added two helpers for four points on the day. Drexel was led by a pair of 4 goal scorers in Nick Trizzano and Cole Schafer. Nick Saputo was 19-25 on face offs for the Dragons.

Virginia hosts undefeated Rutgers (2-0) on February 22nd. Drexel visits 0-1 Albany on the same day.
