Former Lacrosse Player’s Film Featured In Nike’s #RiseAbove Campaign!

Nike Basketball’s new #RiseAbove campaign focuses on basketball all around the world. One of the featured films focuses on girls playing basketball in Iraq, and was directed by a former college lacrosse player!

Nike Basketball’s new #RiseAbove campaign features films and documentaries on basketball, and they come from all around the world. One of the featured films is “Salaam Dunk” and it focuses on the inspiring and growing love for basketball amongst young women in Iraq.

The documentary was put together by David Fine, a high school lacrosse All-American from Washington state, who played his collegiate lacrosse at Wesleyan University in CT, graduating in 2004.
