European Lacrosse League 2013 Promo Video

We’re excited for another season of the European Lacrosse League in 2013, and can’t wait to track the wins, losses, and growing passion for box lacrosse that the ELL encompasses, and helps nurture. In last year’s final, Deutschland Adler LC defeated LC Bison Radotin, 10-9, for the DALC’s first ELL title, in their first year of existence.

This year’s ELL schedule will once again consist of three regular season tournaments and then a final, play-off, tournament. The tournament dates (with locations in parentheses) are:

Tournament 1: Aug 31–Sept 1, 2013 (Eisstadion Neukölln, Oderstraße 182, 12051 Berlin)
Tournament 2: Sept 21–22, 2013 (LCC Sokol Radotín Arena, Vykoukových 622/2, 153 00 Praha-Radotín, Czech Rep.)
Tournament 3: Oct 5–6, 2013 (LCC Sokol Radotín Arena, Vykoukových 622/2, 153 00 Praha-Radotín, Czech Rep.)
Play-off tournament: Oct 18–19, 2013 (LCC Sokol Radotín Arena, Vykoukových 622/2, 153 00 Praha-Radotín, Czech Rep.)

Existing teams can retain seven players from last year’s roster, and all others go back into the draft, which goes down on August 18th. 67 players are in the draft pool, from a number of different countries, including the Czech Republic, Sweden, Germany, Austria, the USA (George Castle), Canada, Slovakia, England, Ireland, and the Netherlands.

The ELL is making box lacrosse a larger reality in Europe, so check them out, and get on board!
