Show LAS Your Old School: My First Lacrosse Practice

Old School LacrosseLast week we showed off a super Old School Hopkins Lacrosse T-shirt and a Michigan Lacrosse 25th Anniversary sweatshirt.  Very Old School and very awesome.  This week we’re switching it up from just old gear and apparel to people wearing Old School lax gear (preferably in original back in the day photos!).  To start us off we’ve got a photo of LAS’ own Connor Wilson at his first lacrosse practice ever in Weston, Massachusetts back in the Summer of 1990.  Wow, that’s a really long time ago.  Connor is old.

Connor was playing as part of the Weston-Wayland youth lacrosse program, which was run by Mat Dwyer (Owner of the Boston Cannons) and Tom Cavansugh (Former Head Coach at Wayland HS).  He’s rocking a SUPER Old School helmet he got from the Rivers School, which easily dates to the early to mid 80s and green Vic lacrosse gloves that were only manufactured for a short period of time.  Porthole mesh?  You know it.

Got a GREAT Old School Photo from your first season of lacrosse?  We’d love to see it!!! Send your Old School photos in to LAS by emailing them to info@lacrosseallstars.com and using the subject line “Old School”.
