Cornell and Princeton squared-off this past weekend in a high scoring shootout that the Big Red won 17-11. Cornell was led by a stand out performance by attackmen Rob Pannell and Steve Mock, who combined for nine goals and 5 assists.

A first half onslaught would bust Cornell out to an 8-1 lead, before heading into the locker rooms at 9-3 at halftime. In the second half, both squads would trade goals through the last 30 minutes. The Tigers would close the score to 12-8 after three quarters, but Cornell’s own 5-3 performance in the fourth quarter would secure the victory and top seed going into this week’s Ivy League Tournament.

Cornell and Princeton will square off again this week in the 1st round of the Ivy League Tournament.
