Game Photos! The Ohio State – Loyola game was a true thriller, as Loyola went up with a slight lead in the third, and the OSU stormed back to win the game 18-11, scoring seven unanswered goals to switch the momentum completely.

The ECAC semifinals were really, really good. Denver and Fairfield played a tight contest with Denver coming out on top, and the Ohio State – Loyola game was a true thriller, as Loyola went up with a slight lead in the third, and the OSU stormed back to win the game 18-11, scoring seven unanswered goals to switch the momentum completely.

Watching on TV, I had started to count Ohio State in the back of my mind, thinking Loyola was just too much, but then the run happened, and I had to eat crow. OSU proved they can play with ANYONE in this game, make no mistake about it!

2014 NCAA Tournament Expansion

Earlier this week, we hinted that the NCAA D1 Men's Lacrosse could expand in 2014 due to a new NCAA rule, allowing certain sports (like lacrosse) to count play-in games as tourney games. This means the NCAA can pay expenses, and the games will count as official tournament appearances.
