For this week’s GameChanger Podcast I was fortunate enough to get to pick the brain of legendary lacrosse mind, Coach Bill Tierney.

Just incase you’re not familiar, Coach T has earned himself a spot on the Mt. Rushmore of lacrosse coaches. From ’88 to ’09 he served as the skipper for the historic Princeton Tigers before relocating to Denver, Colorado to uncover the potential of the DU Pioneers and lacrosse in the West.

Coach Tierney was a 2x All-American and a winner of the USILA National Championship as a player before winning 6 National titles as a coach. All this, and so much more, earned himself in multiple lacrosse hall of fames including the US Lacrosse HOF in Baltimore, MD.

In this episode we talk to Coach Tierney about things like how he got started with coaching, who he modeled his coaching style after, and how he developed the Princeton Defense.

What more of an introduction do I need? Listen for yourself!

Drop back in next week to catch part 2 of Coach Tierney’s interview and for more great GameChanger podcasts over the coming weeks!
