Quick! Think of the most intense athlete you know. Who’s coming to mind? I’ve played on some great teams, and been around some very passionate people. But, out of all of them – Greg “Beast” Gurenlian stands apart.

I got a chance to play with Greg on the NY LIzards for only a few games. Even over such a short period of time Greg stood out as one of the best leaders I’ve been around. He never takes it easy. He’s always giving 100%. He wants to win and he won’t settle for anything less from the people around him.

Greg was on his way to Princeton when I gave him call and we got a chance to talk about things like nutrition, work out plans, conditioning drills, early recruiting, and of course… face-offs.
