Germany Lacrosse 35-Man Training Roster – 2018 FIL Championships

This month, Germany sliced down their giant pool of homegrown talent into a list of 35 names that are still fighting for a place on that final 23-man World Games roster. They were finally able to whittle it down to 35 men after an extensive training process that included many sessions across Europe and North America.

The process took Germany as far as New England for trials, including practice sessions in Gillette Stadium, home of the NFL’s Patriots. They spent a week in the Boston area competing and working with an array of NCAA Division 1, 2, and 3 programs. The list will have to be narrowed down to 28 in the coming months, no easy task when it comes to a group so well prepared.

(Check out the FULL list of FIL rosters HERE.)

Germany placed 9th in Denver’s 2014 World Games and as high as 6th (1998, 2010) in the world in previous competitions.
