Throwback Thursday: Where Did The Pole Go?

I used to be a midfielder, but that was high school. In college I got moved to long stick, because I could run, and now I can’t. So what do I do now? I play some wall ball, and sit on the crease in lacrosse games. I’ve become an attackman!

Here is my positional cycle, in photos:

My first time playing lacrosse. Traditional? Yup.

Only two shooters? Way ahead of my time.

I “customized” my gloves by writing the #6 on them with Sharpie.
My box form is... still suspect.

Slower, but smarter? I hope the latter is true.
Slower, but smarter? I hope the latter is also true.

I also played goalie between 6th grade and 8th grade, but I’m glad I don’t have any photos of that. I really hate getting hit with the ball EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Stepping into a shot as a defender once in a while? Happy to do it. Full-time job? No thanks! I’m just not that tough.
