Game Photos: Georgetown Doubles Up Providence

Georgetown used a big second quarter run, and some consistent face off wins, to pull away from Providence at home on Saturday, 16-8. There was an enthusiastic crowd on hand, and the weather was warm, overcast, and perfect for lacrosse. Tommy Gilligan shot the game for LAS, and while this game gave Providence its first loss of the season, it also sets the stage for a big potential second half of the season from the Hoyas.

Providence (5-1) takes on Syracuse (4-1) next, on March 19th in Rhode Island. Georgetown (3-3) takes on Loyola (5-2) the next day at home.
