Inside Look: Cannons Slip Past Machine, 17-16

Friday night, the Boston Cannons traveled to a well packed Selby Stadium in Delaware, OH, to take on the Ohio Machine.

The Machine tied their club high of goals in a single game with 16 and attackman Logan Schuss also set his, and the club’s, single game points mark with 8, but it wasn’t enough to propel them past the Cannons.

Stephen Berger and Will Manny both and four goals a piece and a handful of Cannons found the back of the net more then once. Their two goal run to tie, then win the game in the fourth knocked the wind out of Ohio’s sails again. Ohio is now 2-4, each loss by two goals or less, while the Cannons moved to an even 3-3.

The games was on CBS Sports so it isn’t available for streaming, but you can check out the highlight reel from the nail biter.
