Get fast tips on how to master the shuttle run

Quote of the week:

If you hate your parents, the man or the establishment, don’t show them up by getting wasted and wrapping your car around a tree. If you really want to rebel against your parents: out earn them, outlive them, and know more than they do.

– Henry Rollins

Now that school has started it’s that time again..  Seniors, before you know it the season will be here.  Trust an “old guy” it will be over before you know it.

I have a very very basic intro to the pro shuttle that is done in combines all over the country.  Take in mind that it takes hours of instruction and more hours of practicing the technique to master the pro shuttle.

If I did a complete video on the pro shuttle it would probably be over 30 minutes long.  Being part of ADD nation, you wouldn’t watch that so I shortened it up to a Cliff Notes version…

Here’s the intro video: What is the pro shuttle and can my team use it in my team testing?

Pro Shuttle Coaching Points

Starting basics

Final points on the start

The spiderman move which will greatly decrease your time at the turns

Wrapping it up:  A final point about using the proper amount of steps..

Start out by walking through the start.  Get used to the “A Skip” because it is an essential part of being an athlete.  If you don’t use the A skip properly when playing, you are losing steps to your opponent. Yes, I said steps not inches. Next master the spiderman and you will do pretty well on the Pro Shuttle.

Next time I will have a basic intro that will help shave of tenths of that brutal 40 time of yours..
