Life Is Interesting

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!

“Make getting older interesting.” – 8,789 Words of Wisdom

It’s important to be careful about the words we use to describe ourselves, and the phrases and descriptions we attach to ourselves. I’m guilty of it myself. Every time I fall asleep a little too early, or don’t feel like being out past10:30 or 11, it’s because “I’m old.” Every time my body creaks or cracks, or is extra tight, it’s because “I’m old.” And while age may have something to do with it – as is the case with many things we experience in life – being old doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with it.

There are certain connotations and expectations attached to the word old, and the more I use the word to describe myself, the more I sink into those associated behaviors and attract those associated characteristics into my life. I have to constantly remind myself that I’m not old.

What words are you using to describe yourself and your circumstance on a daily basis?

What exciting or interesting experiences are you missing out on in life because of the way you think, or because of the expectations that you have placed on yourself?

Life shouldn’t be a burden, a hassle, or chore. It should be interesting!

Make it a GREAT day!
Stay blessed.
