Pick Your Poison: Powell Vs Millon 2002

Way back in 2002, Casey Powell and Mark Millon were both at the top of their game. While the argument can be made that CP is somehow still in his prime (and I wouldn’t dispute it!), BOTH of these guys were balling at the highest levels in aught deuce… so we figured why not compare the two based off of ONE assist they each threw during the 2002 Major League Lacrosse Championship Game.

It’s not scientific, and just for fun. No reason is really needed other than that! We respect both of these legends immensely, and we’re just interested to hear which assist you like more… Millon’s dodge and dump from X? Or Powell‘s quick stick feed to a cutter? We thought they were both great, but which was BETTER?

Thanks to Major League Lacrosse for the video! To check out Major League Lacrosse’s Championship Weekend presented by Smartlink for yourself, click HERE for discounted tickets using the code “COMMISH”! Get to Philly! The song is “Pretty City, Bad Times” by Love You To Death. LYTD’s frontman is Scotty Komer, NLL goalie and all around AWESOME dude. Their music can be purchased here. Hey, Paul!

For more, check out today’s Traditional Thursday, which features MLL Championship Weekend present by Smartlink goals, scored with traditional sticks from 2001-2003. There are quite a few of them! We also have a great hit and a goal sequence featuring Casey Powell from 2001 in yesterday’s Throwback Thursday.

Who Threw The Better Assist?
