Sports Webcasting Network Lacrosse On DemandSports Webcasting Network will kick off this year’s lacrosse coverage with a special presentation of the 2nd annual Lacrosse Day of Champions to be held at Manhasset High School in Manhasset, NY.

They will be presenting exclusive free video webcasts of three highly touted games. The schedule will include the Friday March 27, 2009 varsity girls match-up between Manhasset and Seaford, the boy’s varsity match-up between Manhasset and South Side, played on March 28 and the NCAA featured match-up between 18th ranked St. John’s University and Rutgers.

Sportswebnet.com expects to announce the complete lacrosse schedule within the next week.The on-demand webcast of the girl’s game will begin on Saturday, March 28 at noon. “We are very excited about this event,” said play-by-play announcer and SWN Director Rob Goldenberg said. “Its going to be a great weekend of lacrosse action, featuring no doubt a powerhouse in Manhasset and an opportunity to see one of the top local college teams play in St. Johns.”

Executive Producer and one of SWN’s Directors Tom Bruno feels the growing intensity and excitement. “You always want your coverage to escalate to a fevers pitch, however, this is a great opportunity to see some fierce rivalries at the beginning of the season,” he said.
